Youth & Community

The ethos of the EMB has always been about more than just housing management.  The physical condition of the housing on Pembroke Street was the spark that led to the formation of the original residents group, but there has always been a commitment to holistic regeneration; addressing inter connected issues such as education, unemployment and health and to share knowledge, information and resources beyond the Pembroke Street estate to the wider neighbourhood and beyond to ensure as many people as possible benefit from the EMB and that it is as inclusive as possible.

Countless projects and services have been developed and delivered over the past 25 years. Many have been directly delivered by the EMB, while others have been partnerships.  These have been introduced according to identified need and have also ebbed and flowed with available funding to support them.
